Excellence in Education Journalism Awards

2008 Awards

The Australian Council of Deans of Education Excellence in Journalism Awards are the pre-eminent awards for education journalism. They were established 15 years ago to recognise the highest quality of education journalism in Australia. Entries are judged by a panel of Deans and established print, broadcast and online journalists.

The explicit aim of the awards is to recognise the highest quality journalism which provides a deeper understanding of significant educational issues and celebrates the work of educators in any of the educational sectors. These may include Preschools, Schools, VET, TAFE, Universities and Adult learning.
